I found this steal of a knife set on sale at Pier One a while back. I tried to bead it, but it didn't work out. Instead I tied on a pink, plastic raffia around it. I think that's good enough!

Frames
- 12 2X3 frames from Dollar Tree
- 25 5X7 frames from Dollar Tree
- Metallic silver spraypaint from Wal-Mart
- Black spraypaint from Wal-Mart
I bought some basic frames in various sizes to use at our reception. I bought (12) 2X3 frames and painted them silver. These will be used for the candy buffet to identify each candy on the buffet.
I bought (20) 5X7 frames that I painted black to go on each reception table. I will put directions for using the disposable cameras in these at one per table.
I bought (5) 5X7 frames that I will paint silver. These will be used to mark the reserved tables and one will be for our sweetheart table.
I will post completed pics once I have the contents placed in them after I receive all my paper.

Submerged Orchid Centerpiece Trial
- 3 strands of pink orchids from Wal-Mart
- 3 cylinder vases varying in height from Hobby Lobby
- 3 white floating candles from Hobby Lobby
- Water
We're using this idea for our centerpieces, however using real flowers. I wanted to DIY one to see what it looked like. I purchased all the necessary vases and floating candles from Hobby Lobby for half off. I will give the vases and candles to our florist to use. He said this saved a bunch of money!
Floral Door Hangers
- Various flowers
- Sheets of white styrafoam--enough to make the letters you desire
- Acryllic paint similar to the floral color scheme
- Sponge paint brush
- Plastic wreath hanger
- Ribbon as wide or wider than hanger
- Adhesive
Cut the sheets of styrafoam to particular letters. Paint the sheets of styrofoam on the sides and top with the sponge paint brush to desired color. I painted mine to a medium pink. Allow to dry. Cut floral stems to about an inch. Lightly cover the stems with adhesive and individually place into the styrafoam letter on front and roll over sides of the styrafoam. Allow to dry. Glue wreath hanger to the back of the top of the letter. Allow to dry. Place a light coat of glue along the front of the wreath hanger. Carefully place the ribbon adhering to the hanger. Smooth the ribbon so it does not bubble up. Before it dries, hand up to make sure it lays flat against a door.
Pearl Ribbon Necklaces & Bracelet
- Pink and white pearls from Hobby Lobby
- Pink and black ribbon from Hobby Lobby
- Needle
I'm not quite sure the mm on the pearls I used. To use a comparision, when I put one up to a ruler it's like .3 in or .8 cm. The ribbon I used does not have cm/mm on it so measuring it, it comes out to be about .6cm. Cut enough ribbon for the necklace/bracelet leaving some room to tie a ribbon. I stitched a needle perpendicular to the ribbon through one of the ribbon's ends. I used this needle to thread through the opening in the pearl. If you thread to little when you pull it through it'll rip the ribbon. If you thread too much it won't fit in the opening. Just play around with it to get it right. I picked an appropriate size ribbon compared to the pearl opening because I didn't want the pearls sliding on the ribbon. I just continued to thread each pearl pushing it down the ribbon but leaving some room for "half" of the bow.
